Eleanor is passionate about music education and has been teaching violin and music theory privately for the last six years. During the 2016/17 academic year, Eleanor held a teaching position at Oakham School where she assisted in the coaching of many of the school's ensembles and chamber groups as well as providing one-to-one help with instrumental practice, aural skills and music theory knowledge.
Eleanor's students range from children to adults and she is able to teach across a range of standards, from complete beginner to advanced. Eleanor is flexible in her pedagogy approach and believes in tailoring lessons to suit the individual needs and learning expectations of the pupil should you want to work through grades or simply play for fun.
Lessons are available in lengths of 30 minutes, 45 minutes or 1 hour. Joint lessons of up to two pupils can also be arranged.
